The person behind the plans
Which destination delights both kids and grandparents and why?
I love Fiji for a multi-generational family holiday because it has something for everyone, from toddlers to grandparents.
What truly sets Fiji apart is the warm Fijian welcome. Locals greet you with genuine smiles and a heartfelt “Bula!” wherever you go. Plus, there’s a wide range of accommodation to suit every taste and budget, making it an easy and stress-free choice for the whole family.
What can a travel advisor do that the internet can't?
We narrow down the endless options the internet throws at you and tailor recommendations specifically to your tastes, budget, and style.
We simplify the overload of information, save you hours of research, and offer valuable insider tips beyond what’s available online.
What's a place you keep going back to - and what calls you back?
I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Canada four times, exploring places like Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, Toronto, Muskoka, Montreal, Québec, and even getting married at Niagara Falls!
Most recently, I ventured to Whistler and the Yukon. What keeps drawing me back is the country’s incredible diversity. From stunning landscapes and wildlife to vibrant cities, amazing food, warm people, and lets not forget the skiing. There’s always something new to discover.
My next adventure to Canada will be to Manitoba to spot Polar Bears at Churchill.
What's your top tip for responsible travel?
Explore the local markets and handcraft stores to find handmade goods—it's a great way to support local artisans directly & have a bespoke souvenir.
Dive into local culture by booking fun experiences with community-based hosts that employ locals & give back to the community; things like cooking classes, workshops, or art sessions.
A great example of this is VOU https://voufiji.com/ which is a Fijian based dance company that currently employs over 70 individuals in various roles within the creative arts, and actively contributes to the continuation and celebration of Fijian cultural expression.
What’s one thing you never travel without?
No matter where I’m headed, whether it’s a far-flung adventure or a quiet weekend getaway, I always make sure to pack a deck of cards. It’s such a simple item but so versatile. At the airport, it’s the perfect antidote to long layovers and flight delays - something to pass the time without draining your phone battery.
Kind words from happy travellers
Many thanks again Amy for your professional service and organising such a wonderful trip. I know you are always there if anything happens and that gives us such peace of mind. Also, thanks for your patience!!!
Being my first time to Europe I had big expectations and they were fulfilled. Hard to pick a favorite as we loved it all. I loved how easy Amy made it. It was daunting to think of where to go and what to do but Amy made it a breeze. She organized EVERYTHING and it all went so smoothly. The app is amazing too keeping us in full control of what was planned and what to do.
Just really grateful for having the trip organised for us. We didn't have a clue where to start or really where to go, so to have Amy sort that for us was a huge weight of our minds and to just follow a map was a great way to see the country.
Where I’ve wandered
From viewing the northern lights in Yukon, soaking up the sun in Fiji, spotting elephants on safari in Sir Lanka, cycling across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco and discovering art in Prague, these are just a few of the wonderful memories I've made while travelling with my family.
