Italian Spring

Spring is my favourite time to travel, especially in Europe.

The days are getting longer and warmer, there is still a spattering of snow on the mountains, and the flowers are bursting with colour every where you look.

These snaps are from all corners of Italy – from Rome, to Puglia, to Veneto – cherry blossoms, apple blossoms, daffodils and so many other blooms that this non-green thumb can’t identify!

The other great thing about Italy in the spring is the distinct lack of tourists and the lower prices for accommodation. That means you can see and experience more during your stay, as shorter queues for attractions, no wait time for a table in a restaurant and better value hotel rates mean more time and money for enjoying this wonderful country. Bellissimo!

Safe travels,
