Brisbane’s Luxury Escape

Located in the Emporium development in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, this five star hotel is inner-city chic at its best.

I am a big fan of taking moments when you can for a mini-break. You can’t always manage a long weekend or a couple of weeks’ holidays, but a night or two away is often times enough to recharge the batteries.

When you’re short on time for your getaway, you really need to stay close to home – so it may be worth looking at our own back yard for that little slice of luxury and escapism.

Enter Emporium Hotel.

Located in the Emporium development in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, this five star hotel is inner-city chic at its best. Wedged between Wickham Terrace and Ann Street, you may not think the location is an escape, but trust me, it is. From the intimate cocktail bar on the ground floor to the rooftop pool and the luxurious rooms in between them, this is the perfect place to retreat to, or as a visitor to base yourself while you explore the best that our River City has to offer you. Eateries and bars on your door step, boutique shopping only moments away and all within two kilometres of Brisbane’s CBD, Emporium is hard to beat in terms of location.

The rooms are rich, sleek and incredibly well equipped – everything expected in a five star hotel room but with a few hidden extras. Slide back the doors and a full kitchenette appears, complete with coffee machine and microwave. All rooms also come with a massive 106cm Plasma TV, in-suite laundry, workstation and Molton Brown bathing amenities. Onsite there is a gym, a sauna, the pool and even function and meeting spaces.

The service is impeccable – friendly, personal and efficient. I felt like a VIP, which is one of the benefits that a boutique hotel experience like Emporium can offer you.

There are also plenty of special touches that you can arrange, from a pamper package as part of a romantic escape to an executive stay for the business person – nothing is too much trouble and anything can be easily organised for you.

The highlight for me was breakfast in bed – how indulgent! Order from the breakfast menu and have your eggs benedict with salmon delivered to your room for a relaxed, private breakfast experience. What a treat!

So the next time you need a break from the ordinary, a moment to reconnect with that special someone or a home away from home while on business in Brisbane, think Emporium – then email or call me to book it for you!

Safe Travels,
