A Word A Week Challenge – CONTRAST

This week’s challenge word is CONTRAST.

I wondered about a stark contrasting sunset photo like this one taken in Luxor, Egypt –

I thought about bright contrasting colours of cafe chairs and tables on Isla Mujeres, Mexico –

I considered the contrast of the Otago Peninsula in New Zealand, with its clear blue water, rolling greens and coarse yellows –

However, in the end, I decided on this photo from Kenya –

The white of the tusks against the shadows on the elephants, plus the difference in size between mother and babies is striking and, well, quite a contrast.

Which photo do you think represents CONTRAST best?
