Magical Manarola

Magical Manarola

A jewel on the Italian Riviera.

Manarola is one of five villages that make up the Cinque Terre in Northern Italy.

It’s the perfect base to explore the surrounding area from and is connected by rail, ferries and walking trails to the rest of the Cinque Terre and beyond.

The little harbour is stunning; the famous “lover’s walk” to Riomaggiore scenic and easy; the gelateria is full of creamy delights and the restaurants are plentiful and delicious.

Love the Cinque Terre, and especially love Manarola.

  1. oh Manarola…. My favourite of the Cinque Terre villages too, by far! Vernazza was TOO pretty, Monterosso and Riomaggiore overcrowded, and Corniglia simply too far from the sea… but Manarola, with its boats parked along the streets like displaced aqua cars, was perfection. I want to go back now!
